Recycle old electronics

If you're anything like the typical American, you probably have dozens of old electronics lying around the house: CD players, video games, cell phones, TVs, computers, etc. If you don't know anyone else who could put them to use, don't throw them away! They don't biodegrade, and usually contain hazardous materials that end up in the water supply.

I bring my old computers and electronics to Goodwill. My local store is one of the many Goodwill locations that participate in the RECONNECT program, a partnership between Goodwill and Dell to resell or recycle donated computers and electronics.
